So I finished reading the current version of Extreme Clashers and enjoyed it a lot. It was very different from Planet Seva, but still had the same flare that Cajones gives to all of his writting that made it feel familiar, yet surprising all at the same time. And I am going to stop talking like it isn't just you and I on this board, because sadly, it is... . Things I liked: You had some very interesting characters, and the storyline drew me in quite a bit. You describe things in a way that I can invision in my mind without cluttering up the story too much. It was original and kind of classic at the same time, giving a us a story that could fit any age in different settings, but gave a spin that wasn't too strange or out there. Things to work on: I got confused in a few spots, but I'll point those out in the actual review. Also, Chevrelet's converting to the other "side" seemed kind of sporadic to me. And there was the mentioning, but not using, of Viper, who looked like he could be a really cool character. Now that could have been an attempt to set up a sequel, but it actually looked like he was just kind of forgotten about. I'll go in more detail when I send you a review, which I haven't actually started yet... lol. The main things I saw are up there. Other things included misspellings and sentences that sounded awkward, but I'll get to those on the review as well. Overall: I enjoyed reading it a lot and am very glad you are letting me help you out on this! It *sniff* makes me feel important! lol. I honestly believe this book can get a good fan basis if it actually gets some exposure, and believe me, I hope to do my part to make sure it does. Between this and Planet Seva, I'm not sure which one I liked better, but I'm willing to guess the general public will enjoy EC more. Yay to Cajones!

[Read 3 times]
I think that depends what you mean by "the general public".
Hmm, interested in the notes on the writing of it? (Not the notes on the series... I'm talking about this draft in particular)?
Hmm. Thanksness!
More to come...

By general public I meant readers who enjoy Sci-Fi/superhero/action books. yeah, I didn't define that very well.

LOL. Original EC was pushing 20 pages. Now it's just short of a hundred. Meh. *still needs a scanner* ^_^^_^. Umm... lezee... I need to figure out how to get stage4 to move. . It should be easy after that... *ahem*. Lezee, altogether it was like, two days?

Lezee. The first two or three Isuzu chapters are probably under an hour...? Then we have another evening before the ending, and I don't think it's that late at the end... probably still morning ish. Getting the timezones to work out and still getting everyone to mvoe at a realistic speed... o.o...

How many pages do you think EC will be in published form?

Beats me. Lezee, PS was 144 ish when in 8×11... and turned out to be like 254 or something in paperback, so if the effect is the same on EC, short pages aside... we can estimate around... urm... 254/144×100 ... would give us a ballpark estimate. *doesn't feel like calculating that*

177, plus all the stuff that you have that you didn't include in the version you sent me. I bet with all said and done, it will be around 190 or so.

Since the version of JL on my computer is superior to the one online, and I have two podcast episodes (and a third should be coming in the next 24 hours), and the PS RP is moving along, I have no reason not to update... Meh, it would be very cool if I could set up JL to work over the net... the current 2 player mode isn't very useful. .

Well, don't look for it... The online version was written back in 2001. And isn't very good... and was scanned, so errors are abound in addition to the typoes and such...
Doh! I had an opportunity to record last night. But CNN interfered...

Meh, I got one because... urm... the school blocked Xanga, and that's all people were talking about, and I was told people would be interested in one if I did it. The day after I got my livejournal account, it was blocked on the school server as well! Therefore I said "Grr!" and maybe a few other non-profane-but-politically-based things... and then I read Sophie's and decided to revive mine. *sigh*. *wants notetaking device*. at da system... Hehehe... No... I'm not a rebel... really... (Urm, I'm serious?) I'm bored now. *sigh* maybe I can get myself to go work on gameness...
