If you tell me what it's about, I can try to help.

LOL. I don't know that there's a point. Though I do need to figure out why it takes me to level 92 when I get to the end of stage1... o.o...

That seems like a bit of an issue...

Hehehe. And I think it moves a little fast. *hasn't put in enemies yet*. LOL.. . Lezee... umm... umm... Heck, that's about it. No wait... items stopped getting along when gravity started working. Which makes no sense...

I think you may have broke physics.

You're tellin me... "Well, I can jump... but why don't I come down?" "Oh, I can fall now! So let's combine the items and... wha! They don't combine anymore..."
Ah! Substances can only undergo reactions in a 0gravity environment. Which is why chemical reactions occur at the microscopic level?

So create a special condition that item use creates a 0g environment, lol.

The things is. That doesn't make sense. It's set so that, as far as physics on items is concerned... 1) If the map below the item is undefined, it falls out of the level (bottomless pit type things) 2) If there is an opening below the item, it falls into it. 3) Otherwise, we check to see what the item is and what is touching it, and therefore calculate the interactions. This worked initially, and I don't see why it wouldn't now... but I haven't looked at it since I got it running... wait, I think I did once to copy something for the drop part... that's probably where the problem is...
Hm. I just had a dream involving Isuzu and Tarfin having a swordfight... then... something about Kia.. and... *sigh* doesn't remember everything, but the most of it...

Ok, so I have stuff on the next few chapters, I just don't have them done to the point that I think I can have them. So I'll try to finish up some more either tonight or tomorrow.

3 chapters to go... and since I have little else to do these next 4 days than pack, I expect I'll do it sometime then.

I miscounted, I have 4 chapters to go, lol. How much rewriting do you think you're going to have to do?

Probably not much, just fixing some of the stuff that you've pointed out and things I've caught along the way. Ehg... maybe more in some parts... v.v. But overall I'd say very little at this point.

Uhm. Umm. Umh. Ummh... Not really. Gah! Food is annoying sometimes. *is confused* *goes to HRWiki* *considers wikifying the Jeqo Database* *or maybe adding a Jeqo wiki* That would be awesome...! *wonders how to get a wiki*

I wonder what the requirements for getting a wiki are...
|
|
|
Post by cajones on Aug 23, 2006 5:14:49 GMT -5
Well... hrwiki uses php, whereas wikipedia seems to use something completely different that is probably serverside... Hmm...
Though I could use a proboards account to make a pseudo wiki if I gave everyone mod powers. LOL... Off to do research! *bamf*

Urm... so I have a wiki ( jeqo.wiki.com), but... I can't seem to do anything with it... It just takes me to a "cannot find server" page. Granted, they made a means of finding the verification codes without exposing it to bots, for which I am very thankful... now if they just had a troubleshooting page, we'd be good... -.-.
