There are a couple ways we could answer that. Both probably end in 'no' though. Well, of course we'll keep adding characters and JQs with new releases. As far as actually updating the engine adn stuff... that depends how many good ideas I come up with/receive. I do have another update planned soon (that should give us a bigger selection of stuff...). Heh. Something to occupy us if jq is old. I'll go test on firefox now. . BTW: there is a JL topic in the deiigns and technology board. But I'll leave this hear since ihe topics are probably different.

Ah! Evil flash ads! JL has been updated! (http://planetseva.com/jl_intro.htm ). So what have we changed today... - Fixed the problem created in the previous update in correcting the motino engine. Previously, there was some complicated (rediculous is more like it) code for basic motion... fixed it, but in the last update it wound up cutting off part of the display, so that has been fixed. - A plethora of new items...! By landing supermoves in 1p mode (not jq) you can receive item points, which you can use to access a variety of items that you can equip for your characters. Of course it's not as advanced as the Budokai items engine; only one item can be equipped at a time for each character, and you can't save these settings when the game is closed, but it's cool nonetheless! (Beh, annoying sometimes. I haven't tested all of the items, so reports are in order...). - New random select setup! I figured out how to use the .split() function, which lets me take a string of characters and break it into an array of several strings that are sectioned based on one character or string... basically, I used it to break up the charlist into an array of names, and then randomly pick one... the old random select method is still in place, and you can choose which type of selection to use from options > settings. The only real difference for the user (other than maybe some differences in how random the selection really is) is that the new way works with unlocked characters, while the old version only picks characters that were available from a new game. - Priority changes! Slow attacks can now hit when a standard attack is being performed, but does not cancel it. My attempt at making more of a rock/paper/scissors thing without making slow attacks too dominant. - I think I fixed some effects, particularly from long attacks. Which let me find a few new strategies for arena interaction... - Fixed the file load engine to automatically restore unlocked characters and items without making you go back into the jq you got them from. - A new jq with an interesting prize... but wait, it's hidden! Doh! . Yay for hidden storylines! When I was putting it in, I definitely wasn't thinking about the variety in strategies that would be necessary... so, urm, have fun with that. I want to get 2p mode mode to work in a non-client-side way. It's rather useless if you don't have two players in the same room that can agree not to cheat... but there are some features that are better suited to 2p mode (Like... the DLH arena, for example. Strategy ) Umm... I guess I'm done now. But I would like to say that, of all the battles in the various jqs, the one that annoys me the most is the first from EC...

I wonder if they're noticing they're getting banned left and right... and think about it long enough to realize it's lowering their sails? Nah, didn't think so. XD. *Laser swords*. So, umm, this gives me an idea for a fic of some kind...
