Do to a recent (February / March 2009) influx of spambots, the Gameroom and the EC boards no longer permit guests to create threads. (Guests can still reply to threads created by users).
To cover other things:
Yes, being so verbal with spam and spambots is bad administrating. Yes, we realize like two people have come here for the past two years. Yes, the site needs a huge update. No, these won't see fixing before summer 2009 (barring miracles, of course--anything is possible!)
