[glow=red,2,300] Tadah!
Yes, at first glance... ah, forget the intro... Let's cut to the chase. It is always wise to hope for the highest, but plan for the worst. Unlike some unusual people, I don't expect become the next Tolkien/Lucas, but itdon't hurt to try.
I currently have plans to film a movie based upon at least three of my books, which are so creatively collectively refered to as "The Seva Trilogy" (Oh, so very very corny...) However, you must know that a movie requires more than just a handful of people. Lezee... is this restricted on proboards?... don't think so... anyways, I got a few people, but at the moment, that's not enough. We need actors, graphics editers, sound specialists, the whole nine yards. If you plan on going into the movies, it'd be a nice start, even if the whole thing bombs. Anyone interested need merely reply to this thread, submit a comment at www.geocities.com/dbx20xlrkjj/comments.htm or email me at cajones88@juno.comOf course, you'd want to read the book first, which is understandible. Here's my plan... though it sounds a lot like an annoying salespitch... I proposet that anyone that gets involved in the production of the movie (Actually does something ) gets a free copy of the book. I might want to add that signing on, getting the free copy, and then quitting will be considered a no no.. Meep, I guess I'd need some kind of contract for such an idea, but hey, that's what I got... (ink smudge) for. We need your help, and you might get something out of it. How could you lose? (Oh, give me a minute...)(You got thirty milliseconds.)(..l)[/glow]

A grand plan... quite interesting in fact. I for one should quite like to see this book of yours, but, from the information you have given, I shall not, for I can assure you I have no desire whatsoever to assist with this grand plan... unfortunately. I'm far more interested in the book side of things really, you see, for i have always wished to see a young writer fulfilling their dreams of becoming a published author. (I'm assuming you're young, at least *raises a brow*). I'm interested to know more about the proceedings already undertaken toward getting this book of yours published (should we really expect it so soon? ;D)... and--should you require it--what help could be provided. Basically, just a more detailed explanation of your project Oh, and i suggest that you do offer a little information about yourself on your 'about' page... helps to keep the public on your side, because, after all, you've created a real curiosity here and will draw the eye of any fanfiction writer who once shared your dream *smiles*

Ah yes, money, both the strength and the weakness...
My understanding is, at the moment, we're just waiting on the copies to get here. It should take a few weeks, for some reason, but the deal has been secured. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to make a note of this on the main page...
Basically, as far as the movie thing goes, I think it can be done for cheap and look... a little less cheap, but not up to ILM standards... the big problem will be getting out there. I must say that that will take much longer than the actual filming process...
The book will be available at the publisher's web site. As soon as I find the link, I will post it. Umm... more on the about page? Umm... hehehe... you make an excellent point, I just find it difficult to write anything about myself. It may build with time... but meh,

Ignore the money and we'll do fine. What do we really need money for? It's actually not quite as much of a problem as it seems. I mean, seriously, why do we need millions of dollars to shoot a picture of someone walking down a CGI street?

Okay, so you don't want to divulge possibly dangerous information about yourself... I can understand that ;D Still, I should very much like to learn more about (firstly) how in the world you've managed to complete a book to publishable standard (the Lord knows there's probably a lot of people out there who wanna hear about that! espescially myself - how did you find the time!?) and how you got it published - i mean, wow! you're just waiting for the copies? How excited must you be?! And yet still you wish to go on to greater things... I take it the purpose of this site is more focussed on gathering a movie crew than on publicising your book (or at least that's certainly the impression given, or else I suppose you'd have excerpts from the book and such *muses*)... Hmm, i guess I'll just have to dull my interest until I can find myself a copy, which i doubt i'll be lucky enough to do any time in the near future, living in (more than likely) another country and all.
Well, good luck with the movie... personally i would advise waiting for the book to gain a little momentum before setting sights on the attentions of the greater, increasingly-barely-literate public (*smiles ckeekily* not meaning any offence to movie-lovers, simply despairing slightly at the losses suffered by our language over time *sighs for that which is lost*). Gee i ramble! *grins* Umm, if you wanted to give internetees a slight insight into yourself without it becoming potentially problematic you could always just be vague with your info - !!! I sound like a stalker with my insistence, lol... No I'm not! *glares* don't worry, I'm just very interested by this whole book thing ;D
Okay, umm, I should really get back to my -er- work, sorta *grins sheepishly*

It frightens me some times, because people complain about homework in my classes… and it’s rare that I have any… … which means next year I will die… The book that’s currently being printed is probably the worst of mine that will ever actually get published, meep, the second quarter has the most room for improvement… and it just bothers me. “and how you got it published - i mean, wow! you're just waiting for the copies? How excited must you be?! And yet still you wish to go on to greater things... The more I can get released, the more the site will focus on. It’s just a little more imphatic on the movie at the oment because that’s where the most help is needed. As I’ve said, the book should be available in electronic formats (I have no idea how purchasing will go, I’ll have to keep an eye on this particular part of publication). I’m not sure of all formats, but PDF and Rocket Reader will be available.

*sigh*... and you haven't found Rave's info yet? Mwuahaha.... she has nothing to black male me with... umm... anyways... Yeah. The comments page at my site is screwed... I'll have to use the submission page for both comments and the form until I can fix it. Either that, or move the main page and stuff... but that'd be too much trouble...

Feh. We got it, but nothing works right... Trust me when I say that geocities is better. the ads are the only thing that the viewers will have to worry about, and those like to stay out of the way unless I'm at school... umm... hehehe...

Of course not. Although the billing notice says that the domain was $0.01 and the package was $0.99, the host claims that the 20 bucks was for the domain. But hey, it's their loss. Maybe tit's not bad enough to get them too much time with the red man... that's up to them.

Ok. And I'm back again. Our cover correction form was received, ninety dollars charged, and they haven't updated it on their site yet. Rave's done a little somethin to work with as far as possible cover art that would be... better than what they're giving, without offense of course... omk, maybe a little... I don't see why the electronic format of the book shouldn't be ready now, but last I checked, the electronic book is still "Coming soon!". When it's all done, you can get the book at the publisher's web site, as well as amazon and those places. The printed copies *should* be here by the end of the month, which doesn't seem likely, for some reason. I have completed the script and I'm going to see what I can do about renting higher quality video equipment. My major contact happens to be absent today, so that may take a little longer... * *... anyways, I'm hoping I can at least start something this week, though probably not filming. I still have an astounding five people, one of which is on the completely opposite side of the planet. Gotenks, I'll think of something to do with you... (6). Mwhahaha. Ughem... The building that I meant to use as a studio is currently being used to store a few vehicular devices... so nyah, that'll be out of reach for a little while. I think it won't be too hard to manage though, just so long as I can get people, which may happen in the near future if I can get the message through a couple of people... Umm... Other than that, it's still waiting. I encourage telling people you know that might be interested! Other than that, I guess I just have to rely on other stuff to fall into place... -To the fall of ComCast!
