Yes, there may be those among you that read "rules" and automatically cringe. Be aware, however, that rules are necessary to keep the forum pleasant for everybody. It's a forum, not a personal page.
Note that when you register for a member account, you agree to the terms of service set down by proboards. In order to keep the board ligitament, I must enforce those terms. That doesn't mean you can't have fun though.
Avoid the following in all boards:
Posting any excessively profane, inappropriate, or otherwise harful content.
Giving out information such as passwords, credit card numbers, Etc.
Violating any copyright or trademark laws.
I can see how the first is general. I will be the judge of what is appropriate here. This includes the conduct of moderators and global mods.
You will avoid spamming on all boards other than "The padded cells". The purpose of that board is to basically have fun without flooding other boards. Content in the padded cells should remain legal, but the whole point is to loosen up there. Just have fun!
The topics in the "earth" category are strictly for fun. There is no actual banking occuring or traveling. It's all simply simulated. However, who's to say that realistic skills can't be developed there?
Boards with specific subjects should try to stick to them.
The private RPG board exists to escape the flood of danger from unwanted interference on the general RPG board. If it gets bad enough, I will move that board to a safer location. I can understand how, at times, RPIng with can get stressful when you have people jumping in that... well, let's not get into that. At any rate, RPG's should be respected and guidelines set up by the creator should be followed. The story and such should not be drastically controlled by one individual, but drastic screwing up of a story line can be considered... inappropriate. Just respect others' wishes and creativity in RPG's, ok?
Any violation of rules or ill behavior is punishible with restriction to the boards. I will be merciful, but not lenient. None shall be banned without a fair warning. No mod or Gmod may ban anyone without first consulting the administrator (Me!).
... Enjoy.
