Update:
Wow, how that got ran into the ground... ^_^. Didn't even get anything done (Well, actually there were a few pages, but eh...).
We're now in design phase 2.1. 2.0 *should* have worked, but there were a few glitches I can't figure out sans that the computer is losing it, and that layout would have been far too massive to be worth using.
But all that the user would care about is the finished product, right?
Well, as far as the complexity of commands goes, we're not really clear. Best I can tell, we're going to lose the wonderful ascii/table world from V1.0 in exchange for better playability and more saving/stats/pretty much everything that makes an rpg an rpg.
Like always, suggestions are well-welcomed. (It'll get done eventually. I'd be crazy if I tried to guess when.)

So, what are we in need of:
pretty much people that can do maps. That'll be the majority of the work; creating all of the areas. The people I contacted before might remember the annoyingly complicated set of specifics required for a mere room. The design is completely different now (Though, if anyone actually filled that mess in, go ahead and send it. It was far too complicated for something so large though.).

Status Summary:
V1.0-2.0 designs have been trashed by reason of "over-loading".
- Working item-exchange modules exist. All they need is some cleaning up so the user doesn't ahve to be too incredibly specific.
- The 2.0 interaction-with-animates bit will most likely be replaced with something else.
-the 2.1 area plan should take less work, so long as the placing-of-descriptions doesn't get too complicated. Oh look, Super Mario 3...
- It seems that there is plenty of content in the works, so long as it ends up in the module.
- The combat system seems semi-complete. It'll just take a testable demo to find out for sure.
- I'd say that player abilities are in the completion stage, but there are some things that may be harder than they look.
- I think we can actually save now. I'm not sure of where, how, or what browsers will work with this feature, but if we're lucky, it'll work for most people. Now I've just got to incript all of those variables.
hopefully we can get the save/load game feature to work for the forum so that we can load game stats for forum-based activities related to the game. Feh, that could have been a cleaner sentence...
- Now, we just need traffic. Hahaha. Well, probably wait until we have more up here to talk about.
Heh. I'd love to ramble on about this all day, but I'm running out of things to say. I guess this little bit of disclaimer will work:
The contents of the rpg do not intend to incrimonate, promote, condone, or otherwise suggest an opinion of any act, person, place, or ideals that may be related or directly referenced.
The events in the rpg, while containing references to cannan Jeqo events and people, cannot be accepted or disputed on the grounds of their inclusion. So something in there might show you a bit of the cannan that isn't seen elsewhere, or it might let you play around in it, but killng major characters before their story isn't cannan, destroying major items that appear later isn't cannan, and pretty much anything that doesn't make sense when compared to the official stories isn't cannan. Then again, there are some things it'd be hard to tell about. Just ask if you want to know.
(Ugh. Ok. Maybe I should change my title to the complicator. >.<. )
