Fanspace messed up all my linking... the pics were all switched to messages saying something about "No free linking" but somehow it all mysteriously fixed itself today... Its all crazy.... you could check it out if you want. The web comic isn't up yet... it have to fix the storyline first... thebookofvennadous.fanspace.com

Hmm... interesting. The internet is screwy like that. I can't get in to update my site right now *Flashes *... My book is now available in electronic format. I have no idea why it should take so long for paper back, but meh. www.1stbooks.com/In the search form, type "C. A. E. Jones" in the author field and "Planet Seva" in the title. Meh. I'm not too fond of the preview and synopses on that site though... but yeah. dI'm hoping to get the blasted paperbacks in before my birthday... and I think it'll take just as long *again* if we wait until then to get people to order it since I think it's POD... so nyah. I'll work with that.

I've always wondered why the paperback of books take so long to be published...

Meh, I have no idea. It makes no sense other than they might have limited equipment and people, which also makes no sense considering how well they are financially. *sigh*

They won't let me charge less than ten dollars for the paperback! ... it'll be available on their web site as soon as they get my pricing agreement form back. I think we sent it Yesterday... >.< The price on their site will be about twelve bucks for the paper back and 5 for the EBook. The retail price will be 15 at the lowest, varying based upon who has it. Everyone's telling me how that's not too much, how that's normal for books... but no one looks! Most books of the genre of the same size that aren't anticipated by millions are around five bucks! I mean come on, people. I've got like six fanfics at Azuri's (And would probably have some at FF.net if my computer took more kindly to it) that it should be clear that I write somewhat in the atmosphere of what I read with a degree of uniqueness. $15 is not an acceptable price for what I've written. People in this area will spend that much just becaue it's me. If it was about content, it'd flop. No one will catch that though. Feh... *sigh**Is done ranting in exasperation*...

Hmm...that is a problem. Most people don't like to buy books of that price. I know I don't care. I buy books that are $30 all the time, so your book being about $15 wouldn't affect me from buying it.

Meh. My publisher is beginning... ok, began a long time ago... to annoy me...
my marketing kit is ready. Yay. O.o... the stuff apparently looks cool enough, but meh. I want copies of the blasted book in before my birthday or I'm going to auction off the third editions that I have!... Grr...

Meh. It seems so freaking fifties/sixties, but it appears that all the businesses on the net are against me. It doesn't look like I'm going to get anything in before my birthday. -_- >.< @ ... On the bright side... I have sold an electronic book. *sigh*...

Then be proud of yourself!!! ;D Selling a book is the first step to becoming famous! If that person likes the book, they'll tell other people to read, who will then tell other people to read it!!

If i was hving a birthday, it'd be the day after tomorrow (This posted on Sunday). Meep. This is just... ridiculous. I don't see the point in griping anymore... meh, I'm making my self out to be unhappy with everything... hehehe... imagine a crazy thing like that... I'd like to put something else up on my site, like a game FAQ or something of my design... problem is, the ones I've got are all for stuff i haven't released yet. I could try and write one for this book, but meh. It just doesn't seem like too good an idea... and again, it'd still give away too much info. Besides, then people'd think I was jumping the gun... Anyway, I can't come up with too good a game idea for Planet Seva. Of course, I guess that's where the imaginary visitors to my site come in... Of course, you'd have to read the book first, and it helps if you actually like it... ahem. Well, now I'm just rambling... Yay for me! That's right... E-book's just $4.95... a third of the paperback price and I actually get more out of it... of course, if you prefer a real book, with paper and ink... ahem, why don't I just go print some at Kinko's over night and ship them out... it'd be faster nee? I actually have seven copies that I did that way (One is with my English teacher and the other with... someone in the family...) They're slightly different than the version that *should* be coming out this month/week/year... ... and would be worth more no matter how big the book gets. I really don't like charging vast quantities of money though... money is not something I need or desire. There's my distinction... hehehe... Ok... I'll shut up now... Just put away the weapons...

LOL. Happy early birthday. Who knows though, maybe the paperback book will come out tomorrow? That's before your b-day is it not? Hmm...printing at Kinko's and then shipping them would probably be faster, but...but...you know, just forget I said anything. Anyways, I personally would rather have the paperback book that the E-book. But that's just me. Well, I shall be back. *Vanishes leaving clothes behind. Reappears.* Umm...yeah, I said I'd be back, and hear I am...coming back for my clothes...

Ah.... how kind of all of you... but again, I will not be having birthdays anymore... because... mwhahaha!
Quote: Cronilogical age: The age determined by the number of birthdays one has had.
In all the definitions for age I have seen, not one says anything about how long you've been on the earth.

Post by cajones on Mar 22, 2004 3:28:15 GMT -5
300$ Which, coincidentally, I think I have in my pocket... but seeing as I don't actually have an income yet, it reasonably follows that I shouldn't be able to personally pay for it yet... That's what the "company" is for. ^_^
... Contemplate the conditions that... aw what did he say! I'm sure it means more than I can recall... Think about happy things! Muhuhaha! If you contemplate the bad, it's bound to increase... so... Umm... no more griping? hehehe... We need something uterly ridiculous to talk about... like Penguins wearing slacks instead of tuxeedos.

Yes, that'd be good too... O.O, I guess I'll just have to use the carisma that I know nothing about to capture victims that won't run from us... hehehe... I think Rave is... gone for a while... But hey, I have business cards and bookmarks now! And postcards! ^_^ and they're much better than the preview!... I should have put that on my site... Hmm... If I can find the disk with that synopses on it, I might post it (If that's legal). But now that I have at least something, It should help to ensnare others... aaaaaanyways... You know what? I don't want to wait anymore! Today, I *will* ask one of the speech/drama teachers about contacts that might be interested in movie. And then I'll give her a book mark...

Hehehe. I've got synopsis up... I think it is much better than what's been available so far (And I hope my memory is correct when it tells me this is what will be on the back of the book) www.geocities.com/dbx20xlrkjj/pssynopsis.htmHave a nice day. I hope to get the cover up in my pictures p[page some time soon. I think I'll have to do something about the stuff on the main page so that it's not absolutely confusing... meh.
